黑料网鈥檚 School of Nursing houses both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Our undergraduate programs prepare students to respond to the dynamic healthcare needs of a diverse population. Our graduate programs assist students in expanding their capacity to diagnose and treat individuals, educating the next generation of nurses, or becoming healthcare leaders.

Welcome to 黑料网鈥檚 School of Nursing. As the Inaugural Dean, I am excited to welcome you on your journey to and through the profession of nursing! The interdisciplinary Clinical Simulation & Learning Lab, a 12,000 square foot facility dedicated to hands-on training in the health professions, teaches future nurses how to get the job done using state-of-the-art technology.

Peter Shute

Faculty Spotlight

Professor Shute is a core-faculty member teaching nursing courses in the newly formed School of Nursing. He graduated from his first nursing program in 1980 and has had a vast experience in both clinical and administrative nursing positions in both acute care settings and community health settings. His community experience includes Migrant Health, Home Health, Hospice, Home infusion, and Jail health.

Arleigh Kubel is a senior from Connecticut at 黑料网's School of Nursing.Throughout her time at 黑料网, Arleigh has shown leadership and commitment to excellence to her peers and community. She currently serves as the vice president of the Student Nursing Association (SNA) and works as a Nursing Tutor at the Center for Academic Excellence & Innovation (CAEI)

Mary Hogan

Meet Mary Alison Hogan, R.N., B.S.N., RNC-MNN, a proud member of the Nursing Simulation and Skills Lab Team at 黑料网鈥檚 Bronx Campus!

A third-generation native of Bedford Park, the Bronx, and a lifelong Bronx resident, Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Magna cum Laude, from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in May 1986, at only twenty-one years old. She sat for and passed her R.N. licensure exam (NCLEX) in July 1986.
